This design is at once a bar and an educational tool that caters to China’s growing wine culture.
Through the interactive system, customers create personal flavor profiles.
Amo Eno features interactive bar-tops that double as virtual sommeliers; through the interactive system, customers create personal flavor profiles and rate their wine selections. The system then offers recommendations based off the customer’s cataloged preferences. Importantly, the language of the flavor profiles is accessible. Customers do not need to be seasoned wine tasters to effectively use the system, and they can expand their knowledge of wine culture through interacting with the system. Each component of the design is modular, and the design overall is flexible. The wine bar, taps, and seating can be individually installed to best suit different, unique spaces and contexts, making the design an easy fit-out into hotels, high-end malls and airports.
